Substitute Creacher by Chris Gall

ATTENTION ALL SCAMPS, ALL RASCALS, AND FOOLS!

Mr. Creacher is the substitute for a particularly mischievous class.  Even his monstrous appearance does not scare the children into behaving so Mr. Creacher begins to tell the class stories of boys and girls who had done mischievous things and bad things happened to them, like the girl who kept stuffing things into her desk until one day it started a minor earthquake and it exploded into bits or the little boy who ate so much glue he stuck to everything he touched.  To make the lesson really hit home, Mr. Creacher tells the story of how he came to look like he does- he was so mischievous he became cursed.  But it might not be too late for him after all

Breakdown: A fun twist on the substitute teacher tale with a wonderful lesson for mischievous children.
