A Walk in London is a book with not only a cute story. It is also a book full of fun facts which dot the illustrations. There are a great many vocabulary enhancements throughout the book, for example, scepters, emeralds, guided, occasionally, monument, and cathedral. There is also a foldout panoramic illustrated view of the Thames included. The one downside I see is that the fonts change in the story, as the photo below shows. This may be a challenge to young readers.

Are you getting these books at the local library? I want to check them out! I wonder if there's such a thing as a book club for parents? Like, "Oh yes, me and Brooks read this book and we thought..." Anyway, enough rambling, just wondered where you were finding them so that I can start sharing with Brooks!
A book club for parents would be awesome, right? I actually found these two at B&N. There is a little section in the children's section that has books about Olympics! I thought it would be a fun idea to share.
