The Kids' Summer Handbook by Jane Drake & Ann Love

Kids bored?  Are they driving you a little nuts?  Can't come up with anything new to do?  Houston, we have a plan!

The Kids' Summer Handbook is 205 wonderful pages full of stuff for the kids to do.  To the rescue!!!

Have the kids flip through it with you and select activities to do.  Some are more labor intensive than others, and some require tools, while others are simplistic and you won't believe you never thought of them.  The activities are separated into categories like "After Dark" and "Rainy Days".  Some examples of activities included are Make Your Own Hammock, Plant Weaving, Build a Bat Hangout, Rock Art, Fort Decor, and Juggle Bubbles.  You are sure to find something you have not thought of that will keep the kids busy for hours (or days!)

AGES: 6-11 Best to do activities supervised!

I love this new blog. It is wonderful to have such a defined purpose and I will use this for picking books for my school library.
Great job!
