The Tickle Tree by Chae Strathie, pictures by Poly Bernatene

"Have you ever been there where the Tickle Tree grows and laughed as it jiggles its twigs on your toes?  Have you ever scratched an old crabby's nap under its chin or slept through the sound of a bojangle's din?"

In the vein of Dr. Seuss comes Chae Strathie's imaginative and lyrical The Tickle Tree.

Made-up words, creative sing-song rhymes, metaphors, gorgeous illustrations, and vividly described scenes that also allow for imaginative visualizations make this a book that I cannot recommend highly enough!

I found this book at Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
