Olympic Review Series: How to Train a T-Rex and Win 8 Gold Medals by Michael Phelps & Alan Abrahamson

Michael Phelps did not become an Olympic Champion by just wishing he could be one.  No, Phelps worked and worked, practiced and practiced, long hours and many years to become the Phelps we know and love.  This book explains the hard work Phelps put in through mathematical concepts that are easy to understand, from miles swum to naps taken. :)

So, I am sure you are wondering what a T-Rex has to do with all of this!

The illustrations by Ward Jenkins show math can be fun.  For example,  Michael Phelps on a leg-press machine, with a T-Rex and velociraptors on top as the weight equivalent!  How fun is that?  If math were this fun when I was in school, I might be better at it.
